Isle of CHROMA
Isle of Chroma is a 4-player board game zine designed and developed by myself.
Four unique designs come together to form the map inspired by my love for colour, maximalism and individualism. The game itself is inspired by classics like Risk, Talisman and a hand drawn board game invented by someone from my childhood scout troop simply dubbed "The Map Game".
Handmade - no Ai was used at any point during the production of this zine

" The world of Chroma is one of blood and tyranny, owned entirely by one bloodline. It is forbidden to refer to them in any manner.
How they gained their power is the story of the origin of history itself, as no data exists before this period. A story that began in bloodshed and chains that shall likely end in such. You see, this unnamed family were the first to enslave a tribe that happened to be the home of monks who held the ability to enter a transcendental mode of consciousness that allowed them to alter reality around them; a phenomenon the monks themselves were not fully aware of.
Hundreds of years of research, innovation and oppression yielded a methodology that could be used to control the monk while in this meditative state. They invented a communicable mathematical language, a way to describe the very binary code of reality itself, and of course create new descriptions. These defiled monks are force-fed instructions on how to re-write the planet. Within a week the world was re-imagined according to the whims of the unscrupulous tyrannical world oligarches. Through the use of propaganda and time, memory of the way things once were, no longer existed..
But attempting to harness this existential power always comes at a cost the likes of which man is unable to comprehend. All that matters to the elites is wielding it themselves, world ending consequences be damned... "
